Mostly correct. The variables we spoke about yesterday from Benefits Paid to Exhaustions are all correct. Technically we take the 4 quarter average of the weeks comped and first payments data in computing the average duration, so ( ( c38 + ( c38 -1 ) + ( c38 -2 ) + ( c38 -3 ) ) / 4 ) / ( ( c51 + ( c51 -1 ) + ( c51 -2 ) + (c51 -3 ) ) / 4 ); where c38 and c51 are quarterly values (summed monthly).

The Exhaustion rate is the same, 4 quarter averages for Exhaustions and First payments with a 2 quarter lag for first payments.

As for EB:

EB Benefits:                  c35

EB Weeks Claimed:       c12 + c15

Otherwise you’ve got it all right there.

Let me know if you have questions or if any of that didn’t make sense.

Kevin,

Thanks for speaking with me yesterday about how each variable is coded from the ETA 5159 data map.  I just want to make sure that my definitions are the same as those which are used in the data summary reports.  If you could take a look at the below table for me and let me know if this is accurate, that would be great.
